What is the best time to visit?
Anytime…Batemans Bay located on the south coast of NSW and enjoys an extremely moderate climate. Mean daily temperatures range from 16 to 28 degrees. The Parker by the Sea complex is orientated perfectly to capture the winter sun and summer breeze. Drift off to sleep at night to the relaxing sound of the ocean all year round.
Summer
- Expect 15 -25 degree average temperatures
- Water is perfect for swimming
- Hot days make you long for that refreshing swim
- Long days (approx. 14 hrs of daylight) leaves plenty of time after dinner for a walk or a swim
- Enjoy the cool North east breeze off the ocean
Autumn
- Expect 11-22 degree average temperatures
- Shoulder seasons are often described as the best time of the year to visit with less crowds and nice weather
- The sun has warmed the ocean all summer long so the water is still nice for swimming until the end of April
- Spectacular sunsets
Winter
- Expect 5 – 18 degree average temperatures during the day
- Low humidity, cool mornings and evenings with beautiful clear calm (surprisingly warm) days
- Clear, clean, crisp blue skies make it perfect for bushwalking, mountain biking, paddling, golf and scuba diving
- Feel like you have your own private beach as the crowds have truly dissipated

Spring
- Expect 10 – 22 degree average temps
- Both the air and water is warming up and the days are getting longer (approx. 13 hrs of daylight)
- This is a good time for whale watching as the whales head north to breed
- Great time to enjoy the flora and fauna as all the flowers are blooming and new birdlife is everywhere
